| A great number of folks were not happy with the win last week. But Im happy. A win is a win. Besides I think we have something special that’s going to happy this Sunday. The return of the Spleen Buster. Just ask Chris Simms. The last Bucs QB that played against the cats left the game without his spleen . I predict Superman will find his cape dust it off and sack somebody. But instead of an S it has a 90 on it. Peppers finds his way. The running game is starting to come into its own. And we might see David Carr steering the ship if Jake does not answer the call. I think he is out… Morgan is Morganed. So we will need some Linebackers to step up. There is where Mr. Beason comes into the picture. He is the real deal. Fast and Smart exactly what we need. So that is the preview of the game. How about the tailgate? Its big one. The 4:00pm start means a long day of tailgating. This is the World 600. the Boston Marathon of tailgating. And it comes early in the season. It could prove to be a challenge for the rookies and the veterans a like. The BigCat has really been prepping for this one. I think we are doing the Blackbeards flaming Kabobs. Good stuff. A long tailgate will require significant hydration. We have a cooler full of Miller lites so don’t bring any. Also we are planning on bringing the TV so we can watch the early games. I think we will dock the USS BigCat at about 10:oo and do some breakfast. Our Charity his week is a special one for Brenda and I. We have some friends Greg and Jennifer Snelson whos Jake has down Syndrome. Some folks know that Greg and Jen went to the Superbowl with us in Houston. The cool thing is Jake was there too. Jen was just a few weeks pregnant at the game. So the little guy is full of the Panther Tradition. Our Charity is the Downs syndrome Society’s buddy walk. All our contributions will go to Jakes team and ultimately help make steps for a brighter tomorrow for Jake and all individuals with Down syndrome. The Society uses the funds for education and advocacy programs. Whenever we have made a special appeal to the best tailgating crew in the city has always come through big. So toss some extra duckets in the box and do our part to make sure that each individual is given every opportunity to reach their full potential. Keep Pounding. BigCat |
