It was Monday Night Football in Charlotte. It was electric.
We had about 35 folks show up for the season opener. Lots of
great food. Brats in honor of our Cheesehead guests, ( who
had worn out their welcome by the third quarter). Cindy B.
brought her special Old Settlers baked beans. Kathy and Gary
B. supplied the potato salad. I think we had so much they took
a gallon or two home.
We also broke out the Panther Blue Hurricanes. Lori was on
pace for 3 before the game. I think she set the record... not
sure since no one ever remembers the 4th one.
Jessie and his crew were back in their spot. So was big
Jason, AND those CATs can cook.
We poured the most Panther Juice I have ever served during
regular season.
We went home defeated... but lived to see the next Tailgate.a
